At Kai’s Place, our mission is simple: to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats in need. We believe every cat deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life in a loving home. From kittens to seniors, we work tirelessly to provide the care, support, and resources necessary for each cat to thrive and find their forever family.
Kai’s Place was born out of a passion for helping cats that have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered. Named in honor of our very first rescue, Kai—a brave, resilient cat who showed us the power of second chances—our rescue is dedicated to giving other cats the same opportunity for a better life. What began as a small, local effort has since grown into a full-fledged rescue operation, powered by a community of animal lovers who share our commitment to saving lives.
At Kai’s Place, we focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of cats in need. Whether it’s pulling cats from overcrowded shelters, providing medical treatment for the injured, or offering a safe space for those who have been abandoned, our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care for each cat that comes through our doors.
We work with local shelters, rescue groups, and community members to identify and rescue cats in urgent need of help. Many of the cats we save come from high-risk situations, such as being on the euthanasia list at overcrowded shelters.
Every cat we rescue receives full medical care, vaccinations, and, if needed, rehabilitation for physical or emotional trauma. We take the time to assess their individual needs to ensure they’re ready for adoption.
Our ultimate goal is to find loving, permanent homes for all the cats in our care. We take pride in carefully matching each cat with the right family, ensuring a happy, healthy future for both the cat and its new owners.
